Faigi Rosenberg, Ph.D

Faigi Rosenberg, Ph.D., is a licensed psychologist with over twenty years of experience in conducting neuropsychological and psychoeducational evaluations, as well as counseling in school settings. She is NYS certified to provide these services in Hebrew and Yiddish, in addition to English. Dr. Rosenberg has a strong background in child development and has extensive experience doing counseling in both special education and general education programs, including the Jewish Center for Special Education, Yeshiva of Central Queens, Bnos Malka Academy, and others. In addition, she trains parents and teachers to identify the signs of learning disabilities and to be effective advocates for their children in obtaining appropriate services. Dr. Rosenberg is currently pursuing certification in Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). She recently completed a forty-hour didactic training under the supervision of Dr. Steven Kurtz and is participating in ongoing consultation towards obtaining certification. Dr. Rosenberg is passionate about using evidence-based treatment to improve parent-child interaction along with children’s behavioral difficulties.
